Rabbits are an invasive pest in many parts of the world. They can often be scared off with smelly or pungent homemade preparations, but it may take several attempts to discover something that works. In desperate situations, the simplest thing to do is to build a rabbit-proof fence.
2. Use raw eggs. Rabbits don’t like the smell of raw eggs, but over time they may get used to the smell. Beat an egg, pour it into a spray bottle and spray it on plants or around the perimeter of the garden.

Repellent for rabbits and hares
Start the extraction one day before application. For 1 L of water use 25 g of ground neem seeds (hulled) or 50 g of ground neem seeds (not hulled) and let the mixture stand overnight (for grinding or crushing see “Preparation of the oil). Then filter the extract through a fine gauze, sieve or fine mesh cloth to remove larger particles. The extract can now be applied with a backpack sprayer or hand sprayer. It does not require any emulsion or wetting agent.
The active components of neem break down rapidly, especially under tropical climate conditions. Therefore crops that are regularly attacked should be treated weekly; in the case of a serious locust or grasshopper attack it is best to treat every two weeks. If crops (vegetables) are to be watered, water the soil directly as water running off the leaves can wash away the extract.
Dr. V. P. Sharma of the National Institute of Malaria Research in New Delhi says that the repellent is particularly effective against the Anopheles mosquito that transmits malaria. When the preparation is applied to the body it effectively repels mosquitoes. The low-cost neem oil is mixed with coconut oil in concentrations of 1-2%. Neem oil is used in the manufacture of insecticides because it contains azadirachtin which effects over 600 species of pests including insects, nematodes, fungi and viruses, and is completely safe for non-target organisms such as predators, bees, pollinators, fish, birds, livestock and humans.
Azadirachtin from neem oil is a famous natural anti-feedent, growth regulator and ovi-positioning insect repellent, as its main active ingredient making it a perfect alternative to chemical pesticides.
Neem oil is used as veterinary drugs for pets and livestock since ancient time. Ozoneem oil is used in various diseases, precautions, accidental condition, hygiene and wounds as an ingredient of medicines or alone.
